Starting as early as March 31, 211info staff will begin reaching out to the nearly 500 individuals who entered a landline phone number as their primary or preferred contact in the Get Vaccinated Oregon (GVO) tool.
OHA recently discontinued landline registration in the GVO tool due to concerns from partners about the state creating automated phone calls.
Some of these individuals listed a cell phone number or email address as their alternate contact information and may have already been contacted for vaccine appointments. 211info staff will prioritize contacting the 260 individuals on this list who have not yet had any contact from OHA.
Individuals receiving calls will see the number 503-416-2702 on their caller ID, and staff will identify themselves as a 211info representative, calling on behalf of Oregon Health Authority. Staff will make three attempts to contact registered individuals, including leaving messages or calling back at specific times if requested. During the call, 211info staff will offer vaccine information and work with eligible individuals to schedule vaccine appointments.
211info staff will not request social security numbers or financial information to schedule vaccine appointments. Staffers may request health insurance information, but these materials will also not be required to create an appointment. The vaccine is free for everyone.
Individuals not registered with the Get Vaccinated Oregon tool can continue to reach out to 211info by dialing 211 or 866-698-6155 (toll-free). For TTY, individuals can dial 711 and call 1-866-698-6155.
